Prevents the upper dishrack from sliding off its tracks.
Details
The dishwasher rack stop clip attaches securely to the end of the upper dishrack guide rails. It acts as a mechanical barrier that keeps the roller wheels confined within the track assembly during loading and unloading. Over time, exposure to high heat cycles and harsh detergents can cause the plastic locking tabs to become brittle, warp, or snap off entirely. When this cap fails or is lost, the upper dishrack can easily slide past its safety limits, pulling out completely from the rail system and potentially causing dishes to spill or break.
