Positioned on the exterior door panel, it provides the leverage required to release the door latches and open the unit safely. Due to frequent pulling force, heat rising from the cooktop below, and chemical exposure from kitchen cleaners, the handle can eventually crack, snap at the mounting points, or become loose. Replacing a fractured or missing handle ensures easy door operation and prevents user strain on the outer door glass assembly.
