The WD28X34745 is a genuine OEM lower dishrack assembly engineered for full-sized dishwashers. Positioned at the bottom of the tub cavity, this heavy-duty wire rack features pre-installed roller wheels that allow it to slide out smoothly for convenient loading of plates, mixing bowls, and heavy cookware. Over time, the protective vinyl coating on the rack can chip, causing the underlying metal to rust and discolor, which can stain dishes or lead to structural failure. Worn or broken rack wheels can also cause the tray to derail or sag, blocking the rotation of the lower spray arm. Replacing a damaged lower rack ensures optimal dish spacing, unrestricted water circulation, and smooth glides.
