The 00753351 Circulation Motor and Heater Assembly (also referred to as a heat pump) is an integrated dual-function component located within the base of the dishwasher sump system. It is simultaneously responsible for pressurizing water to drive the rotating spray arms and heating that water to precise sanitation temperatures. Over prolonged use, internal seals can degrade, electrical heating elements can fail, or the motor windings can burn out. Common symptoms requiring replacement include dishes remaining dirty or covered in residue, the dishwasher failing to dry properly, loud buzzing or grinding noises during the wash cycle, water leaks beneath the appliance, or the unit tripping the household circuit breaker mid-cycle.
