The 00751950 is a genuine OEM diverter assembly (also known as an alternating water distributor) designed for high-end dishwashers from Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau. This motorized valve is located at the base of the sump and is responsible for alternating water pressure between the top, middle, and bottom spray arms. By controlling which arms receive water at specific times, the dishwasher can optimize cleaning performance while conserving water. Common symptoms of a failed diverter include dishes on one rack remaining dirty, the dishwasher stopping mid-cycle with a "check water" error, or a loud clicking/grinding noise coming from the bottom of the unit. In some cases, the internal seal can leak, causing water to drip onto the base tray and trigger the flood sensor (Error E15). Replacing this assembly restores proper water distribution and full cleaning power to both racks.
